  • Rev. Lara Bolger

    Pastor - Contact

    Pastor Lara lives in Bothell with her husband, Robert, and their dog, Annie. Lara loves to laugh, read, play volleyball, go to concerts, and eat chocolate and is passionate about "the Wesleyan way": personal spiritual experience of God expressed in acts of love and social justice.

    Office Administrator - Contact

    Debbi, a native of California, has lived in Sammamish since 1984. Before becoming a church administrator, she spent 20 years as a Montessori teacher. She loves the Seahawks, hanging out with friends and family (including her husband Brian and children Nathan, Michael, and Amanda), and shoes!

    Faith Formation coordinator - contact

    Rebecca is a native of northeast Arkansas. She and her husband of 31 years, Chuck, have 3 children: Amy, Joe, and Devin. In her role at RUMC, she enjoys spending time in the chapel, getting to know others by hearing their stories, and the sharing of faith journeys. She also bakes a mean chocolate chip cookie!


  • Hannah Armstrong

    Hannah, originally from Northern NY, moved to Redmond in 2015. She enjoys good design, cooking, and trips to Marymoor Park with her husband, Sam, and their two dogs. Hannah graduated from Colgate University in 2013 where she was shown the beauty of God's Kingdom in the here and now!


  • Bailey Moritz

    Interim Youth Coordinator - Contact

    Bailey is a Redmond native who grew up going to Redmond UMC... and even led Vacation Bible School one summer! She recently returned home from studying Oceanography and Environmental Studies in Maine where she enjoyed teaching students of all ages about marine science and aquaculture on an offshore island. Later, she co-led a college course where she got to take students into the field to find cool sealife. Having found youth group rewarding and fun as a youth herself, she is excited to be involved again.

  • Bob Wright

    Music Director - Contact

    Born in Ballard, raised in Bellevue, B.A. in Music Ed. (Seattle Pacific), Bob represents the letter B in Redmond. Besides making bad jokes, he enjoys playing multiple keyboard instruments (including accordion) and using music as a platform for the exploration of the Great Mystery.



  • Matthew Kruse

    Chancel Choir Director - Contact

    Matthew grew up in the Seattle area and loves mountain biking and music! He has directed the RUMC Chancel Choir since 2005 and also teaches band, orchestra, and choir at local high schools, is a private French horn instructor, and directs music with the Orchestra of Flight and Twelfth Night Productions.


  • Sheryl Caldart

    "The Group" coordinator and Handbell Director - Contact

    Sheryl has served in RUMC music ministry since 1984, and has been involved in handbells and accompanying choirs since she was a child! Sheryl works for Northshore School District's Occupational/Physical Therapy Department and enjoys spending time with her husband, Dana, and their daughter, Catlyn.


  • Amy Mayes

    Artist in Residence

    Amy has ventured a long way from where she was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She is a graduate of Cornish College of the Arts, has been working as a professional actress since 2012, and is proud to serve as RUMC's Artist in Residence.
