Youth (grades 6-12)

Love hanging out with good people and eating good food? Want to get involved with the community but don't know how to get started? Interested in the Bible but haven't made it past the first page? Us too.

The youth group meets on Sunday evenings for worship, food, games, discussion, and reflection. They also participate in service projects, outings, and retreats throughout the year. Read about our various programs below and check the calendar for more information.

Want to get involved? Fill out a permission form so you can get in on the fun!

Still have questions? Email our Coordinator of Youth Ministry, MaryKatherine Koons.

During this time, we will gather to play awesome games, eat tasty snacks, and have a group discussion about our faith, religion, the Bible, our spiritual gifts, or other faith-based topic.

This is a time for those in grades 7+ to learn more about United Methodism and to explore their faith as they decide for themselves whether they want to be members of the church.

Every month, we will work together on a project that will help someone else. We will focus on a different project each month, and our projects will be aimed at helping the community either directly or through a church event.

CONVO 2017

We will be attending this year's CONVO, a United Methodist youth retreat, together as a group! The retreat will be held over Memorial Day weekend (May 27-29), and it is open to all youth in grades 6-12. The weekend will be filled with tons of fun through rallies, small groups, and some exciting workshops to choose from; whether you like music, Pokemon, or deeper discussion, with 18 workshops to choose from, there is a perfect fit for you! Learn more on the event page and register today. Then be sure to let MaryKatherine know you will be joining in on the fun!

2017 Summer Mission Trip:

Idaho Mission Project

We will spend a week in Idaho, engaging in a different service project each day to learn more about what problems people in other parts of the world are experiencing and how those issues are being addressed; to explore how our service and our faith affect each other; and to spend time building up our friendships! We are going to have tons of fun and learn a lot about the world, each other, and ourselves, so I hope you will join us on this exciting trip! You can sign up by just emailing MaryKatherine to let her know you want to come. Please note that those participating in the trip are expected to help out at the Chili Cook-off, as the funds from the event will go towards the cost of your attendance. For more details about this trip, visit the IMP website, or email MaryKatherine with your questions.
